From Your Bulldog Triathlon Race Director...

On behalf of your 2009 Bulldog Triathlon Weekend’s race committee, thanks to all who participated in the 2008 Bulldog Triathlon weekend: we hope you achieved your goals and had a safe, enjoyable race.

Even though it is early in the year, the race committee is already hard at work planning this year’s events. We are looking at returning to Rondeau Provincial Park, a great venue, with the same four events you’ve come to expect from our race committee. We’re designing improvements in the swim course (better shape, deeper water) and the bike transition, and we’ll be retaining our early registration discounts, water refill stations, KOS-sized bike racks etc. Do you have any suggestions for this year’s weekend? (e-mail us if so)

On behalf of the children in the C-K YMCA’s Strong Kids Program and the Chatham Y Pool Sharks swim club who benefit from the proceeds from our race weekend, thank you very much: I am looking forward to seeing you in August.
